I am putting some feelers out to see if there may be some interest in Cricket. He's not ready for his new home as of right now.
13.2-3HH yearling registered AQHA gelding that I bought as a weanling.
This is a decision I've been praying about and going back and forth on. Sadly I can only keep one personal horse if I want train other horses.
I planned on keeping Cricket until he was two to start him under saddle, but I'm wanting to get a more challenging project. He's incredibly talented and willing. It just wouldn't be fair to him if I kept him, since I wouldn't be able to take him to his full potential performance wise (I like to train more then compete) .
Cricket could go in almost any direction: Ranch, roping, barrel racing, western pleasure, or make him your next trail partner (but he's not limited to those).
He's UTD on vaccinations, deworming, and farrier work. He's been trimmed twice. He has a good ground work foundation. Which includes lunging, yielding hind and forequarters, side passes towards and away, stands tied, halters, leads, picks up all 4, grooms, fly sprays, bathes, loads and backs out of trailer. He's been stalled and blanketed.
He will only be considered for a good home. I am looking for someone who will provide excellent care and be willing to send regular updates (2 to 3 times a year).
I'm a teenage horse trainer. I have good horsemanship, and I believe in building partners not slaves.
Located in South Eastern Oklahoma.
